TRIXSI
Album "And You Will Know Us By The Grateful Dead" in June!
Excellent news from the Glitterhouse camp: The Hamburg rock quintet TRIXSI announces today the follow-up to their highly praised debut album "Frau Gott" with the promising title "And You Will Know Us By The Grateful Dead". It will be released on 03.06.2022, both physically and digitally.
Even though the announcement is not yet accompanied by a new single, it is certain that the live setlist of the sympathetic formation will be expanded with some irresistible songs, and the next TRIXSI concerts can't come soon enough.
Until then, perhaps the recording of the band's 2021 Rockpalast concert can provide a little bridging assistance. Especially since there was already new material to discover in the live versions of songs like "Ach Meche" or "Jerome/Janine".

The new TRIXSI album "And You Will Know Us By The Grateful Dead" is now available for pre-order in two vinyl variants as well as on CD.
About TRIXSI:
It’s not a trick. It’s just TRIXSI.
What did our first band info say again? "The moment when the mime gets tripped and lands face-first in the clown's pie before he can throw it, that is TRIXSI."
Something like that, anyway. It’s actually true, except for the thing with the mime. TRIXSI are too loud for that. And the thing with the clown honestly only applies to this Mechenbier, this front clown, this roaring stage meatball.
TRIXSI are hard to put into words, but otherwise easy to grasp. Here, nothing more and nothing less happens than the completely normal magic that you can stir up with a handful of friends in a pot called "band." Here, a little inventiveness and a lot of eye for what has already been accomplished and made sense condense with a high degree of creativity. Here, tires are punctured instead of attempting to reinvent wheels. No one here has fear or stress anymore. Just enthusiasm. Joy drips from every pore and falls to the ground while the band members shake their heads in unison: About the state of this world, human interaction in general, and the music industry in particular.
The band from Hamburg plays both with the functional, trained moments of their previous musical lives, as well as with the freedom that the removal of sonic and thematic concepts like HERRENMAGAZIN, FINDUS, and LOVE A now makes possible. While listening, one might suddenly think of WEEZER and the EAGLES, while still some punk rock posters hang on the wall in the rehearsal room. What pleases is allowed. And here, they enjoy each other’s company. One shouts cheers, and all the others nod. Who the fuck is niezuvordagewesen? Where the fun in German-language rock music ends, TRIXSI only just begins. And it is to be feared that they are far from finished. - Jörkk Mechenbier (that’s me) for the band
The truly great second album by Paul Konopacka, Klaus Hoffmann, Kristian Kühl, König Wilhelmsburg, and Jörkk Mechenbier aka Trixsi will be released on June 3rd on Glitterhouse Records and bears the modest name 'And You Will Know Us By The Grateful Dead'.
