Sunday evening is crime time on ARD. You might like it, but you don't have to. On April 7, it might be worth taking a look at the Rostock version of Polizeiruf titled "Kindeswohl". Because in a supporting role, the singer of Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Jan "Monchi" Gorkow, plays a home employee.
At 11:35 PM, the documentary "Wildes Herz" follows, in which actor Charly Hübner (Commissioner Bukow in "Polizeiruf 110") accompanied Monchi with a camera for three years. It’s about music, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and resistance against xenophobia. This seems to anger the angry citizens; in 2018, a screening had to be canceled due to a bomb threat. "Wildes Herz" was awarded four prizes at the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film. The German Film and Media Evaluation (FBW) awarded it the designation "particularly valuable". The documentary will be available for another 30 days on the ARD Mediathek.
