No King. No Crown. releases video for "Homesick"

Friends & fans of Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, William Fitzsimmons, and City & Colour, pay attention! The Dresden singer-songwriter No King. No Crown. has just released the video for "Homesick", the first single from his upcoming album "Without Yesterday". With this song, René Ahlig aka. No King. No Crown. delivers a beautiful melancholic track that serves as the perfect preview for his new album. "Homesick" premiered via Testspiel.de and was created during a twenty-day tour through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, and Germany.

The artist himself says about the video:

Together with the team from Tophill Films, we tried to depict the contrast between familiar home and tour life. The forest symbolizes home: peaceful and quiet. My comfort zone. Tour life is represented by the city. In contrast to the forest, it is more lively here, somewhat stressful and loud, like in tour life. The rope connects both places, me, and my feelings towards the familiar.
