12.08.2014, afternoon, the exact 36th anniversary of the quintessential Central European punk and underground club, SO36 / Kreuzberg-36, TERRORGRUPPE plays a small surprise gig in front of the club's entrance, announced online at noon, all technology wired up mobile, then everything rolled out onto the street in 5 minutes and immediately started making noise... within 2 minutes, Oranienstraße and Heinrichplatz are blocked with hundreds of birthday guests, who give the social event a fitting framework with punk rock, canned beer, and smoke bombs.
The band also brings a world premiere, the track "NA ENDLICH" is performed for the first time in front of an audience: a simple but very plausible response to all populists, right-wing conservatives, and unscrupulous racist citizens, who repeatedly get to promote their crude theses with public attention and media hype, which are actually just a bland rehash of provincial pub prejudices from the 70s and 80s, garnished with a bit of pseudo-scientific racial biology and snippets from the Nazi era. Even if Thilo Sarrazin seems to be out of the picture at the moment, the next desk arsonist is surely already somewhere in the starting blocks.
