Tom Gaebel: Germany's coolest crooner releases sixth studio album
After a longer contractually mandated break, TOM GAEBEL is releasing on his own label TOMOFON.
He is the last great gentleman among the singers of the republic and a musical phenomenon. Tom Gaebel makes music like no one else. A sound that reminds us of times when men were still real men, standing in front of the microphone in a suit and tie. Frank Sinatra, for example, or Dean Martin: whiskey in one hand, casually holding a cigarette in the other. Just like the motto 'Easy Living'.
Just as playfully relaxed, Gaebel's latest album effort “So Good To Be Me” turns out. Once again, Germany's coolest crooner delivers the perfect soundtrack for a time travel to the 'Swinging Sixties'. 13 songs of the best sunshine entertainment, for which one wishes for endless days by the pool. This life-affirming nonchalance makes "Dr. Swing", as Gaebel is affectionately called by his fans, his musical motto. A mission he has passionately dedicated himself to since his debut album in 2005.
"I just love this grand sound from the time when great songs were still recorded in large studios with big ensembles. That’s exactly what I always wanted to do!" describes the multiple jazz award winner his musical drive.

About Tom Gaebel:
Since Tom Gaebel released his debut album "Introducing: Myself" in 2005, the man with the unique voice has become an integral part of the music scene. No other entertainer in Germany connects punchy big band sounds so passionately with the captivating lightness of easy listening.
Born in Gelsenkirchen and raised in Ibbenbüren (Westphalia) as the second oldest of four brothers, music has been a part of his life since early childhood. From classical early training on glockenspiel and flute to boys' choir and violin lessons, he came to the drums at the age of 14 and to the trombone at 17.
He discovered his true calling as a singer in his mid-20s. After studying music in the fields of trombone, drums, and jazz singing in Amsterdam (NL), he moved to Cologne and founded his first big band in 2004. Since then, Tom Gaebel has been thrilling concert audiences both nationally and internationally, wherever he performs with his twelve-piece orchestra on stage.
"Dr. Swing" has also been a popular guest on television for many years – such as on 'TV Total', 'Zimmer Frei!', 'Die ultimative Chartshow', or 'Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel'.
