Culture at Muff Potter

With "Die Räuber - featuring Schiller", the Theater Oberhausen is attempting an intercultural project with German and Turkish youth, focusing on the engagement with Friedrich Schiller, whose death anniversary was commemorated last year for the 200th time. The aim is to discover what this classic of German educational theater still says to young Germans and migrants today. The playful engagement with the cultural traditions of both countries is ultimately intended to culminate in a performance by youth and professional actors. For this, Muff Potter guitarist Dennis Schneider has been recruited as a producer and composer. The play, directed by Harald Demmer with Dennis as the musical director, will premiere on May 28 in front of a sold-out house. Due to the guitarist's detours, Muff Potter will not take a break. In the summer, they will mainly be found at larger festivals.
