After last year's anniversary was celebrated extensively, Nigrock is now stepping into its second decade with open eyes! On May 12 and 13 of this year, the Mädchenheimrasen in Bad Bederkesa will rock, celebrate, and be celebrated for the eleventh time in a row – as always organized and supervised by students, alumni, and teachers of the school.
Once again, you can look forward to a healthy mix of local and regional bands of various styles: both familiar faces (e.g. Lost A.D., who have always been a highlight in previous years) and new friends (including the Swinging Apallikers, who have made a name for themselves in the region over the last two years with catchy punk rock and intense stage shows) will be present, along with school bands and the in-house music guild, promising two fantastic days filled with stages, bands, and beer stalls. The “nightshows” (after the headliner), which were very well received last year, will also continue and are sure to bring surprises again this year – we are excited, and you should be too. More information (e.g. details about the bands) can be found at http://www.nigrock.de.
