Owly By Nature with Christopher Paul Stelling on Tour

Since spring 2010, songwriter, singer, and guitarist Ian McIntosh and bassist and singer Sean Hamilton have been OWLS BY NATURE, and three years later, after countless performances in their Canadian homeland, the successful debut "Backwater," and since then in a consistent quintet lineup, the folk punks from Edmonton present their masterpiece "Everything Is Hunted." At the beginning of 2011, the trio-recorded 8-song debut album "Backwater" was released, shortly thereafter Cory Dee (6-string banjo, keyboards, vocals), Doc De Groot (lead guitar, lap steel, mandolin, vocals), and the debut's sound engineer, Fred Brenton (drums, melodica) joined the band as permanent members. With increased momentum, OWLS BY NATURE returned to the streets, able to add entirely new dimensions to their musical vision with an expanded sound body and arrangement advantages. For the follow-up album "Everything Is Hunted," the quintet entered the studio well-prepared and returns with ten vital, diverse, immediately soulful, and finely produced songs that are practically begging to be heard on stages outside of Canada. CHRISTOPHER PAUL STELLING will support the band at some concerts.
