Take an abandoned psychiatric clinic, add a bizarre, decaying casino on a hill overlooking Lake Como in Italy, and you have the video location for ‛Devil Inside’, the first single from PETE ROSS & THE SAPPHIRE‘s current album ‛Rollin’ On Down The Lane’ (Beast Rec). Add to this set four mysterious characters and a psychedelic storyline, and you have more of a mini-film by Italian director Viola Barbato.
Often described as the Australian Johnny Cash with a Nick Cave twist, the Australia-born singer and guitarist PETE ROSS, who lives in Milan, will be touring with New Zealand bassist and fellow singer SUSY SAPPHIRE in October.
In this context, he will not only present his current album ‛Rollin’ On Down The Lane’ but also the recently released 7“ single ‛Mockingbird/Down To The Woods’.
