I AM HERESY: CURRENT NEWS

- Nathan Gray's new hardcore metal side project
- Debut album on Boysetsfire's own label End Hits Records (distributed by Cargo Records) on February 22, 2013

That Boysetsfire frontman Nathan Gray is a busy jack-of-all-trades is likely well known: In addition to his influential post-hardcore band, which has been his main driving force for the past two decades and has burned itself into the collective memory of a generation of hardcore kids, Gray has always found time for side projects in recent years.

After his previous second project The Casting Out came to an end for various reasons, Nathan promptly founded a new project that combines the raw punk/hardcore of Boysetsfire's early days with modern metal influences: I AM HERESY.
Joining him are Gray's son (!) Simon, Jonah Latshaw (May 4th Massacre), brothers Jay and Crumbs Konieko (The Dead and Gone), and former Chambers guitarist Gregg Kautz.

The self-titled debut will be released on February 22, 2013, on Boysetsfire's own label End Hits Records (in Germany distributed by Cargo Records). A tour is planned for March 2013 (via Avocado Booking).
