finestvinyl.de : the Online Vinyl Store

finestvinyl.de
- Your new Online Vinyl Store

With finestvinyl.de, a specialist in online vinyl is launching in mid-September 2012, which is more than just a webshop for records. With a new team and a new look, finestvinyl.de aims to be a top destination for both vinyl junkies and record collectors as well as newcomers, combining the charm of a traditional record store with the advantages of a modern webshop in terms of selection and expertise. And this comes with a wide range that covers many genres from pop and rock to hardcore/punk and metal, as well as jazz, classical, and blues.

At finestvinyl, there are people who go to concerts, collect records, and believe that music enjoyed from real physical media offers a different experience than downloading files. Managing Director Joachim Hiller is rediscovering his passion for the record trade here, having once given up the mail order "Ox-Shop" associated with his music magazine Ox in the nineties to focus entirely on publishing (the Ox-Verlag also publishes the free magazine Fuze as well as the vegetarian magazine Kochen ohne Knochen and cookbooks).
The offering of finestvinyl.de strongly emphasizes vinyl versions of current releases as well as reissues and rereleases of classics from all genres, limited editions, colored, numbered pressings, and exclusive box sets. Through collaborations with music magazines like Visions and Joachim Hiller's Ox, many of the over 12,000 vinyl titles on finestvinyl.de feature independent, honest reviews.

The program also includes music-related merchandise, lifestyle items such as the exclusive "shirts that rock" collection created for finestvinyl by the Dutch design label Okimono. Additionally, the shop offers accessories for vinyl and turntables, from padded inner sleeves to shipping boxes. Voucher promotions and up-to-date tour dates round out the offerings at finestvinyl.

finestvinyl.de is a way to feel at home as a new or old vinyl fan in a world where there are hardly any well-stocked old-school record stores outside of a few major cities. Welcome home.
