With their new album "HBLX", H-Blockx have packed a fireworks display full of pop songs, rock ballads, funk beats, and electro disco hits, which together with the H-Blockx classics guarantee a top-notch set.
And just in time for autumn, they are releasing the second single from "HBLX" on September 21: "Love Can´t Say" – a ballad that invites you to chill and feel good.
It’s no coincidence that some of the new tracks remind one of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers, as the Californian funk rockers played a crucial role in the formation of H-Blockx. Guitarist Tim "Tinte" Humpe recalls: "It was May 28, 1988, the Red Hot Chili Peppers played at the Odeon in Münster in front of 300 people. That was the greatest! I was speechless!" Shortly thereafter, H-Blockx was formed.
With director Carina Steinmetz, the band recently filmed the video for the single on Rügen, where a romantic love vacation story is told in refreshing images.
