TEQUILA & THE SUNRISE GANG: 9 Shows in 9 Hours & Video Premiere

TEQUILA & THE SUNRISE GANG
- Release Party & Street Festival in Kiel (04.08.2012) :
- Video Premiere: "The Moon Of Kansas City"
- Fans shoot another live music video: "Wild, Loud and Captured by You"

Kiel-ifornias new star in the German ska-punk sky invites you to a
nine-concert video shoot marathon festival day. Tequila & the Sunrise Gang
will turn the usual customs of a music concert upside down on August 4th in their hometown and organize a
street festival plus nine release concerts in one day on their own.

At the core of the event are the concerts: A total of nine shows in nine
hours will be performed by Tequila & the Sunrise Gang on 04.08.2012 at the Kiel
Schaubude. Tiny-Sweaty-Intimate-Direct... you haven't seen the Förde punks in such a
small setting for a long time in Kiel. And as if this unique concert marathon wasn't enough: With
nine cameras per concert, the audience will not only be immortalized in the band's new
music video; they will shoot it themselves. "You can't capture the atmosphere and emotions of a concert better than from the audience's perspective. So why not hand a camera to people in the crowd?" drummer Tobi sums up the motto of the 9 shows: "Wild, Loud and Captured by You"

The live marathon will kick off with the first concert at 2:00 PM. After that, the Tequilas will follow up every hour.
To allow the audience to unwind after the earlier concerts, Tequila & The Sunrise Gang have also organized a small street festival in front of the Schaubude. In addition to various treats and drinks (of course including the namesake cocktail), you can also head to the "quiet area" or get detailed information about organizations like Hamburg's "Viva con Agua" that support Tequila & The Sunrise Gang intensively.

Tickets for the 9 Schaubude shows are available now at

On August 4th, the new album "Intoaction" will be presented, which will be released digitally on August 3rd and also as a CD on September 21st via Uncle M Music. Today, the first music video "The Moon Of Kansas City" celebrates its internet premiere:
