AMANDA ROGERS - new album, tour dates and video link
On April 27, the new Amanda Rogers album - "Hope From The Forgotten Woods" will be released via Make My Day Records / Alive.
The album contains 16 brand new tracks. In May/June, she will be touring in a double bill with THE PLEASANTS (her second project with husband Mike Matta (http://thepleasants.bandcamp.com)) to present the album live.
Her elegiac, ethereal songs occasionally remind one of Tori Amos, early Keane, Ben Folds, or Kate Bush. “Hope From The Forgotten Woods” is thus a consistent continuation / implementation / representation (it depends on the viewer) of an alternative lifestyle.
