The legendary DJ Eric Prydz takes on M83's anthem ‘Midnight City’ and presents us with the official [Eric Prydz Private Remix]!
M83 is Anthony Gonzalez, born in Antibes, South France. With “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming,” the sixth album was released on October 14, 2011, via Naive. The double album “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnson (Beck, Air, NIN, Tori Amos, Goldfrapp) and includes collaborations with Zola Jesus, Brad Laner (Medicine), and Morgan Kibby, who also contributed to “Saturdays = Youth.” The unique music of M83 draws inspiration from Krautrock, 80s pop, shoegaze, and film music. Since 2001, Gonzalez has released five albums that have been celebrated worldwide, particularly in the USA, and has produced various remixes for artists including Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Goldfrapp, Deftones, Bloc Party, and White Lies. During the world tour for the last album “Saturdays = Youth” in 2008, M83 opened for The Killers in the USA, Kings of Leon in the UK, and Depeche Mode in France, Italy, and Germany. Gonzalez on his new album: “For now, the direction of the album is very, very, very epic. Very orchestrated. I feel like it's a mix of all my albums, actually. I think it is a reflection of my 30 years of being a human being. It’s a compilation of all my previous music together. It’s a retrospective of myself.” After M83’s anthem “Midnight City” has already successfully aired as a single on the radio, the Eric Prydz Private Remix is now available, which will set the German club scene on fire!
