HOT WATER MUSIC: new club tour and festival dates in June
- new album to be released May 2012
Hot Water Music kicks off the summer with a bang in the midst of shivering February: In June, the legendary post-hardcore band from Gainesville/Florida will not only play additional festival shows in the German-speaking area at the request of many fans, but also announces four club dates! Supporting them will be none other than the currently highly praised and widely recognized La Dispute!
With this club tour, Chuck Ragan, Chris Wollard, Jason Black, and George Rebelo are not only filling the gap between their performances at the major festivals Greenfield, Hurricane, and Southside. They will also prove with these small club shows that, 18 years after their founding, they are far from being old news. Bassist Jason Black summarizes the band's excitement for these shows:
"It's really exciting for us to not only get back to doing more club shows, but to FINALLY be able to do it with a new album to support is amazing. It has taken us 8 years to release it, and we can't think of any better way to share it with our fans than at packed out shows like Wiesbaden is sure to be."
Hot Water Music will have their new album, set to be released in May 2012, with them on these dates, although detailed information is still scarce. What is certain is that the album, recorded in January & February by Bill Stevenson (Black Flag) at the Blasting Room Studios, is the first regular HWM studio album since "The New What's Next" from 2004!
Tickets for the club concerts are now available at the venues and all advance ticket outlets.
Each show in Wiesbaden and Dortmund will have 100 limited collector hard tickets available exclusively at the Uncle M Merch-Shop at http://unclem.merchcowboy.com!
