CIV - the return of a hardcore legend!
- First European concerts of the groundbreaking band in 11 years!

In 1994, Walter Schreifels formed the band CIV with a few old friends after signing a major deal with his band Quicksand. With their blend of pop-punk and driving hardcore beats, they were ahead of their time, yet CIV quickly became much more than just a side project of seasoned hardcore veterans, thanks to MTV airplay and an unbroken cult status in scene circles. Just six years later (in 2000), the band surprisingly disbanded.

Nine years after the breakup, Equal Vision set out in 2009 to release a complete retrospective of the band under the name "Solid Bond: The Complete Discography." A reunion was within reach. When the all-star band of Anthony Civarelli, Walter Schreifels, and Sammy Siegler finally came together for a much-celebrated reunion concert, it brought tears of joy to many fans from back in the day.

The former members of Gorilla Biscuits, Rival Schools, Youth Of Today, Quicksand, and Glassjaw are now gearing up at the end of September with new guitarist Charlie Garriga to deliver a big blow and will perform old classics like "Can’t Wait One Minute More" and "Set Your Goals" at four exclusive European shows.
