When you can't quite categorize a band, it's easiest to look at the musicians' self-description. Only to find out that Footgang can't really fit their sound works into the right box either. It states, "All influences from Death, Hardcore, Progressive, Stoner, Alternative, Punk, Independent, and Noise come together here and pour out sounds that transcend any sense of time and space. Whether with completely insane song structures that somehow manage to be catchy or with a wall of sound that showcases a diversity rarely seen - Whatever sends this band into the stratosphere: It bangs!".
Their Paralyzer EP, which with a playing time of over 33 minutes can't really be categorized as such, also stands out in the offered MP3 download from the crowd. However, not necessarily in a positive way, as all tracks are glued together into a single, continuous MP3 file. Download at http://footgang.de/
