It was foreseeable that the strategy of the People Like You label would change after the acquisition by EMI. Now, these changes are gradually becoming apparent. PLY, which has only been active in the European market so far, also wants to conquer the United States. Initially, the albums "Life Goes On" by The Adicts and "Burn And Rise" by the German psychobillies Mad Sin will be released in the US market.
However, the expansion strategy is also reaching out to Germany. SS-Kaliert reports that they have signed a contract with People Like You. Now, they will first head to the studio to record their third album. A tour with the American punk rockers The Krum Bums is planned for 2011.
