Their Europe tour will certainly be remembered by Nueva Etica. However, these memories are unlikely to be positive for the Argentine band, given everything that happened to them here. One might think that it’s too much for a month abroad, but when you have bad luck, everything seems to go wrong. But let’s allow the Straight Edge group to speak for themselves:
The last show of our 2009 European tour, which took place in Darmstadt, Germany on September 26th, marked the end of a month of chaos and misfortunes: First of all, our drummer was rejected at the border, so we had to do the entire tour with a substitute. We missed our first show in Berlin on August 28th, as well as three other shows we had to cancel to use the time to get new passports at the Argentine embassy... Why? Because our van was broken into and parts of our merch and personal belongings were stolen in Berlin on September 2nd for the first time. Exactly one week later, the unbelievable happened in Rome: In the middle of the day, again on a pretty busy street, our van was broken into for the second time! TWICE in one week!! We still can't fucking believe it!!! Again, all our clothes, passports, digital cameras, shoes, iPods, notebooks, as well as large amounts of cash were stolen. We were able to balance some of the deficit by playing well-attended benefit shows at Cassiopeia-Berlin and Gent-Belgium and by collecting coins at every show we played, but we're far from having collected enough money to pay the bills for airplane tickets, booking deals, etc., and to repurchase our personal belongings, notebooks, iPods, and so on...

The last show of our Euro tour 2009 on 26.09.09 in Darmstadt marked the conclusion of a month full of failures and chaos: Our drummer was not allowed to enter, so we had to play the entire tour with a substitute drummer. We missed the opening show on 28.08. in Berlin as well as three other shows that we had to cancel to take care of new passports at the Argentine embassies... Why? On 2.09., our van was broken into in Berlin for the first time, and personal valuables as well as parts of the merch were stolen. Exactly one week later, the unbelievable happened in Rome: In broad daylight, again on a busy street, our bus was broken into again. TWICE within a week! We can still hardly believe it! Again, all our clothes, passports, cameras, shoes, iPod, notebook, and significant amounts of cash were stolen. With well-attended benefit shows at Cassiopeia in Berlin and in Gent, Belgium, as well as through donations, we were able to offset some of the loss, but it is by no means enough to settle outstanding bills for plane tickets, booking, etc., and to replace personal items like laptops, iPods, etc.
