The Jera On Air is one of the largest and most popular alternative festivals in Europe – and in 2026 it will once again be a highlight for all fans of punk, rock, and hardcore. From June 25 to 27, the grounds in Ysselsteyn will transform into a mecca of the alternative music scene. While the main stages shine with international top acts like The Offspring, Architects, and A Day To Remember, the beloved festival's own club stage, The Sparrow, will once again showcase a diverse mix of underground gems and established names.
This year, visitors are particularly looking forward to a strong selection of bands that will create an atmosphere on the Sparrow Stage. The stage has long established itself as a centerpiece of Jera On Air – a place where the energy of the underground meets the passion of the fans - in a specially built club right in the middle of the grounds.
In 2026, some of the most influential names in the alternative scene will be present: The legendary ska-punk band The Aggrolites will bring their unmistakable mix of reggae, punk, and soul to the stage, guaranteed to create a good mood and dancing crowds. The British street punks Grade 2 are currently the band of the hour in the punk scene, representing raw, unpolished punk rock with catchy melodies and an energy that captivates the audience from the very first note.
Two absolute highlights will travel from the USA: Zeke will impress with their fast-paced, aggressive punk rock that has been making waves since the 90s, while Authority Zero will set the stage ablaze with their characteristic sound of melodic hardcore and punk. Also, The Smith Street Band from Australia will enrich the Sparrow Stage. The band is known for their honest, emotional punk rock that inspires both reflection and celebration. Last but not least, the cult punk rockers The Dwarves will provide the necessary chaos factor. Their shows are legendary for their unrestrained energy and uncompromising sound.
The Sparrow Stage thus remains true to its tradition: a place for real, unpolished punk and rock in various facets. It’s not about mainstream or compromises, but about a passion for music that touches the soul. Whether ska, street punk, hardcore, or classic punk rock – the Sparrow Stage will once again offer a lineup in 2026 that captures the diversity and spirit of the alternative scene.
NEW: BUS TRIPS WITH STOPS IN GERMANY!
There is particularly good news for all German festival guests: In 2026, shuttle buses will be offered for the first time from several German cities. Fans from Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Essen, Cologne, and Mönchengladbach can conveniently and stress-free travel to the festival on June 25 – and the return trip on June 27 is also secured. A great advantage for those who do not want to drive themselves or simply want to start the festival day relaxed.
