Dead Pioneers are back with another track from their upcoming album "Wagon Burner," which will be released on June 26 via Hassle Records (Cargo)!
The new single titled "Never Alone" features a vocal collaboration with Aimee Interrupter, the singer of the California ska-punk sensation The Interrupters.
"I wish I could express how proud we are of this collaboration and how grateful we are to The Interrupters for being willing to work with us on this song," explains Dead Pioneers frontman Gregg Deal. "Honestly, this has been in the works for several years, and I can't wait to share the very personal backstory behind it.
The very real and palpable feeling of not belonging and finding comfort through music, community, and a found family is something so many of us can relate to on various levels. I am a fan of The Interrupters, but I also know firsthand through their music how sincere they are in their mutual feeling and understanding of what this music does. 'Never Alone' is a tribute to that familiar feeling of finding a sense of self. Finding it through accessible means like music, community, and the shared experiences that come with it. Sharing this with The Interrupters, Aimee, Kevin, Justin, and Jesse is a dream. These are four fantastic people who not only understand these ideas but also stand for them with their love and compassion for the very human need to find one's place in the world. We are very proud to live this with them as family."

"Never Alone" is an uplifting, infectious anthem about community and friendship, with Aimee's vocals adding a wonderfully addictive melodic chorus to the song's pounding groove.
"Hearing Aimee's voice in the chorus is undoubtedly overwhelming," says Gregg. "Aside from her powerful voice, I hear the sound of a six-year friendship between Aimee and the Bivona boys with my own family, which existed even before Dead Pioneers. I am so grateful for this friendship, especially when I see Aimee and my oldest son Sage getting closer. When we say 'Never Alone,' we mean it, because we know that the band The Interrupters are friends, damn it, family, who believe in these things just like we do. I am immensely grateful to share this with them, even though I am internally overwhelmed and emotional. What an incredible moment where the circle closes."
