Guitarist Jack Chatfield explains:
"Better Today is about the damage depression can cause in a relationship. The song contrasts the recent past – when I was at my lowest – with a hopeful outlook for today."

The single is from the band's fourth album, "Talk About It", which will be released on April 3 via Hellcat Records. More than twelve years after their formation as school friends, bassist Sid Ryan, guitarist Jack Chatfield, and drummer Jacob Hull reflect on growth, resilience, and the reality of life – on and off the road.
"Talk About It" captures a defining chapter in the band's development: shaped by touring in uncertain times, the balancing act between relationships at home and growing dynamics on international stages, as well as transforming personal struggles into direct, honest songs. From festival appearances to shows with long-time idols, Grade 2 turn experience into urgency – and reflection into songs full of rawness and melody.
The album is a statement of survival and evolution – raw, focused, and forward-looking.
