THE BUSTERS are now releasing their new album "Calling" on 27.02.26 instead of 23.01.
The band states on their social media channels: "Release Update: Album "CALLING" will be released on 27.02.2026! We have decided to postpone the release date to 27.02.2026. We have put an incredible amount of work and passion into this album and want everything to be just right in the end. Currently, we are on tour, playing a few new songs live, and experiencing every night how you celebrate them. Thank you for your support and for all the pre-orders. It means a lot to us. "CALLING" can still be pre-ordered, of course. See you soon on tour or in the record store!

With CALLING, The Busters make a striking comeback – nine musicians, one common language, and an album that shows how vibrant and creative collective work can sound. Created between two studios – in the atmospheric "Waldstudios" of Philsen Hoppen in Schmachtenhagen near Oranienburg and in "Der Raum" with Olli Zülch in Waltrop – CALLING combines emotional depth with musical clarity and the characteristic ease of interaction that the band is known for.
Here, music is created from trust, precision, and a collaboration that works on equal footing. No mastermind, no hierarchy – instead, a band that makes decisions democratically and works surprisingly quickly and structured. This concept works, as can be heard from the first note. CALLING sounds cohesive, but never smooth; detail-oriented, but always alive. The songs carry the experience of a band that understands each other intuitively, but also the courage to allow emotions and try new things. It is an album that clearly emerges from community – and from the joy of making music that touches.
The sound of CALLING is clear and open, rich in dynamics and atmosphere. You can hear the space, you can hear the air, you can hear nine people breathing together. Instead of digital perfection, the feeling takes center stage here, a warmth that cannot be simulated.
What sounds organic and cohesive on record unfolds live with full force. The Busters have been among the most experienced and consistent live bands in the country for decades, a formation that can look back on over 35 years of stage experience and has heated up countless festivals, clubs, and halls during that time. Their concerts are more than mere performances. They are encounters. The audience becomes part of the event, the energy transfers, and what begins in the studio as a finely balanced song becomes a lively dialogue between the band and the audience on stage. Whether at large open-air events or in small clubs.
The Busters continually manage to breathe new life into their music. What impresses most is their playful precision: nine musicians who understand each other intuitively, yet every moment sounds spontaneous, fresh, and open. This live quality is no coincidence, but the result of decades of routine, passion, and mutual trust.
CALLING captures exactly this energy - it is not just a studio album, but the sonic reflection of what happens on stage: movement, closeness, exchange. The songs are arranged in such a way that they can breathe live and carry every stage moment within them.
What makes CALLING so special is the balance between clarity and playfulness. Each song tells its own story, yet a common thread emerges: the search for connection, for orientation, for moments when music provides support. That The Busters sound so cohesive and yet so fresh after so many years of band history is due to their special collaboration. Nine people who contribute their individual strengths without losing themselves in the collective. The structures are clear, the process is established, but the energy remains open. Nothing sounds calculated, everything feels immediate.
Thus, CALLING becomes an album that not only convinces musically but is also emotionally accessible. It is music that moves without becoming loud, and seeks depth without heaviness. You can feel that here, songs are not just produced, but stories are shared.
With CALLING, The Busters succeed in creating an album that is both thoughtful and intuitive. It is the work of a band that knows who they are – and yet continually breaks new ground. Between quiet moments and anthemic choruses unfolds an emotional range that touches without ever feeling forced. In the end, there remains a feeling of movement, of closeness, of clarity – and the thought that music can sometimes do exactly what words alone cannot: connect. "You bring me back, you bring me home when I’m calling."
CALLING will be released on February 27, 26 via Ska Revolution Records as an LP with colored vinyl, CD, and digitally via Indigo (physical)/ Believe (digital) and showcases The Busters at the height of their art – as a mature unit, as a creative community, and as a band that has been proving what true musicality means for decades, both live and in the studio.
