In 2008, punk turns 31. It's high time to quickly get all the honors for the 30th birthday out to the public. Just in time, Reda El Scherif and Konstantin Koewius present their documentary "Wecken und geweckt werden - 30 Jahre Punkrock in Düsseldorf". The film, which portrays the Düsseldorf scene as one of the most important in terms of punk rock in the late seventies through interviews with eyewitnesses, will premiere on November 16. For five euros, you can enjoy the film at the Black Box Kino in Düsseldorf starting at 9:30 PM.
