Tolmin, Slovenia, is known for its breathtaking mountain landscapes, the stunning Soča River, its tree-lined campsites, Mediterranean weather, and also for its great heavy events with endless hair-swinging to selected metal in the (evening) sunshine…
It was here that the TOLMINATOR FESTIVAL first took place two years ago, aiming to elevate the good tradition of high-quality metal festivals in a true holiday atmosphere in Tolmin to a new family level. By lovers for lovers!
Not looking back, not driven by nostalgia, but facing forward, a new festival with its own touch and deep black, uncompromising musical soul has been created, always keeping the needs of the visitors, metal fans from numerous corners of the world, firmly in mind. Limited to only 5000 visitors, the TOLMINATOR crew has taken off and managed to combine the positive elements of music and untouched nature with the necessary sensitivity.
The world-renowned thrash legend KREATOR, which has been one of the most influential metal bands for 40 years, along with the British extreme metal band CRADLE OF FILTH, finally completes the line up for 2025, and with already announced bands like MINISTRY, which has been among the greatest in their genre for decades, and KATAKLYSM, whose reputation as one of the most brutal and powerful heavy metal bands of our time precedes them, Tolminator III will be one of the festival highlights of the year when it comes to extreme metal!
Especially since the booking crew demonstrates a consistently stylish touch with bands like ORANSSI PAZUZU, ME & THAT MAN, RIVERS OF NIHIL, ROTTING CHRIST, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, WOLFBRIGADE, DOPETHRONE, D.R.I., CRO-MAGS, AHAB or MIMI BARKS when it comes to quality and variety.
