Last weekend, the former VIVA news anchorman, musician, and family man Rocco Clein unexpectedly passed away at the age of 35 due to brain hemorrhages. Many friends and institutions have offered help to his survivors and quickly organized a two-day festival that promises to be remarkable. The "Monsters Of Rocco" benefit festival will take place in Cologne on March 1st and 2nd, 2004. Almost the entire range of renowned German indie bands will be present. Additionally, the Scandinavians from Turbonegro will pay their last respects to Rocco. All bands, organizers, magazines that print ads, venue operators, etc. are waiving any fees. The entire proceeds will go to Rocco's children, Jackie and Julius.
