On November 13, 2024, "Rottweiler," the first single from "heal," the upcoming album by the Aachen post-punk trio FYUS (pronounced "fyooz," like "Fuze"), was released.
The album will be released on March 28, 2025, on CD and colored vinyl. The band themselves reveal more about "Rottweiler":
"FYUS let the dogs out. A dirty feedback like a slap in the face - driven by crashing drums, Rottweiler takes off like fleeing from a pack of dogs. The post-punk chorus sticks in your head with its bittersweet guitar riff. The bass - antisocial. The almost hoarse vocals tell a story about the fucked-up dimensions of normative masculinity. Based on a true story. In the end, a queasy-melancholic feeling remains, much better than male insensitivity."
Live Shows:
01.12.24 Darmstadt, Oetinger Villa
24.01.25 Aachen, AZ Aachen
