NEW ALBUM "BLOW IT…AT MADISON’S QUINCEANERA" OUT ON 14.06 VIA FAT WRECK CHORDS!
Madison Littlefoot was lucky enough to win a live band performance on the radio station 91X FM for her Quinceañera. But what she didn’t know was that the band was "Me First and the Gimme Gimmes". When they arrived at her celebration and the band performed a cover of "Good 4 U," the mega-hit by pop star Olivia Rodrigo, the girls went wild and the surprise was complete.
"Yes, this is the unavoidable hit from Olivia Rodrigo that you just can’t escape. Given our usual audience, which is definitely not in their teenage years, we felt compelled to learn a song from this new... millennium. After careful consideration and questionable late-night pop radio marathons, we concluded that 'Good 4 U' perfectly represents our band values, our integrity, and our musical style.” - Spike Slawson
Not only is the cover of "Good 4 U" being released, but the entire live performance of "Me First and the Gimme Gimmes" at Madison Littlefoot’s Quinceañera. The energetic performance, led by frontman Spike Slawson, was enthusiastically received by the guests. From the catchy melodies to the infectious rhythms, the band delivered an unforgettable show that turned the celebration into a real party.
The band will soon embark on a European tour and will also perform in Germany and Switzerland:
