In nearly three decades with thousands of performances around the globe, LORD BISHOP ROCKS has become an institution. The Mother Tongue bassist Davo once said after a joint show about the black two-meter giant from the Bronx in New York: "Pure rock'n'roll flows through his veins." Just like his appearance, Lord Bishop's performance on stage is grand, powerful, unique, determined, and simply unforgettable. When asked about his age, he likes to respond: "I'm young enough to rock, but old enough to know how!"
Since March 27, 2024, there is a new video for "Darkness" available at the link:

About the song, Lord Bishop says: "DARKNESS - A song about death. A lyric about mental illness and the hopelessness of not receiving help. The feeling of having reached the end and the moment of a decision. A last breath, a way to find the peace you have wanted your whole life. Since we cannot talk to people who have died, we will never know if it is better in the land of eternal sleep or not. The song is literally screaming for help from those who see people around them falling into the DARKNESS. Come to the rescue to fight. Maybe we can save a life!!"
Lord Bishop Rocks presents its best work to date with "TEAR DOWN THE EMPIRE." No wonder, as for the production, LORD BISHOP ROCKS brought on board two heavyweight electric guitar experts: Together with the Godfather of Grunge Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, among others) and the German producer insider Andy Schmidt (among others Disillusion), an album has been created that translates the blues, punk, and hard rock spirit of the American-German band into a timeless, raw, and energetic sound, showcasing frontman Lord Bishop's sparkling charisma like never before.
In nearly three decades with thousands of performances around the globe, LORD BISHOP ROCKS has become an institution that is at the peak of its groove and feeling. Lord Bishop began his career with a move to the wild post-reunification East Germany. Without a safety net and double bottom, straight ahead from his American homeland into the unknown. The hard tour, the perseverance against all odds was literally in his cradle – coming from poor and difficult circumstances. In Dresden, he began his musical mission to carry handmade rock around the world and into the next millennium. When you ask Lord Bishop why he does what he does, he doesn't hesitate for a moment. "I was put on this earth to influence millions of people on a social, spiritual, and musical level. That is what drives me."
