Relax Trio

The rockabilly trio called "Relax Trio" hails from Rauma in Finland.
Although the musicians of the trio are still quite young, the band has been around since 2004.
With the vinyl EP "No Grudges," their fourth release is already here.

The 45 RPM record contains 4 tracks and comes in a stylish cardboard color cover. The A-side starts with the track "Blackguard-Johnny," a cool groovy mid-tempo number, followed by "Please just leave Suzie," a rather calmer rockabilly tune. The clear highlight of the EP for me is definitely the first track on the B-side, "Don’t you f**k with me." A fast melodic number with plenty of power and already slight psychobilly influences, in my opinion. Absolutely brilliant!
The last song is "Miles away." The intro comes off a bit like American rock, and the song doesn’t really connect with what was heard before; however, after the intro (I’ll call it that), it continues in a more rockabilly style at a brisk pace.

The sound is heavily shaped by the prominent vocals of singer Linda and her double bass, while guitarist Oskari takes care of the straight guitar sound, and drummer Vilho drives everything forward with his powerful playing.
The production and sound are also fantastic.
I was recently able to experience the extraordinary quality of the band live as well. Cool rockabilly from a great band with a sound that is modern and absolutely not dusty.

Absolutely worth listening to!
