The illustrator Benjamin Marquardt, together with Chris Pfeiler (author), released the comic book "Bruchbach Serenade" (published by THENEXTART Verlag).
In the foreword, Chris mentions that he originally wanted to release the story as an animated series, but ultimately decided on the comic format.
Artistically, the comic is black/white/gray. Benjamin's characters appear very unique, but his style is not always consistent. Some pages are very three-dimensional with many shades of gray, while other pages seem rather hastily done, only in black and white.
The main characters are 2 boys and a girl. Apparently, they live together in a shared apartment. In issue 1 "Regenbogenfalter", Alex (the girl) reads an article about the weapons of a woman. Women are said to be predisposed to develop supernatural powers - they just need to perform a few exercises for that. Alex does not believe in it, but Mike does, and so they bet on who is right. Indeed, very strange things happen to Alex that week. Meanwhile, Rick is trying to get his written confirmation for his internship at the town hall, where he is no longer welcome after he manipulated the mayor's speech. However, Rick insists on his right to this form. He ultimately gets sent to a HAL-9000 lookalike (from the film: "2001: A Space Odyssey"), with which he encounters some problems.
The story has some funny moments and the comic is beautifully drawn. The booklet has about 24 pages and costs 4€.
