Jingo De Lunch on Tour Again

With their mix of hardcore, punk, and rock, they managed to achieve a certain exceptional status by the end of the 80s. Hardly any other band at that time succeeded in uniting this sound into such a cohesive whole. Just three months after their formation, the members around Canadian frontwoman Yvonne Ducksworth of Jingo De Lunch, who had all previously gained experience in various other bands, released their first LP "Perpetuum Mobile". Four more albums would follow before their dissolution in 1996. 21 tracks from these will soon be newly remastered and edited as a Best Of titled "The Independent Years" on Rookie Records.

The idea came about when they played two concerts in Berlin at the end of August 2006. It seems that it was so much fun that they will add a tour from September 8 to September 20, 2007.
