On June 23, 2023, the new single and video "Wenn wir uns sehen" from the current album "Alles glänzt" by Feine Sahne Fischfilet was released, with which the band has just reached number 3 on the German charts. For Feine Sahne Fischfilet, it is one of the most important songs on the album: "Wenn wir uns sehen" is a song for Dariush Beigui, a friend of the band who has been active as a captain in sea rescue for years. Above all, it is about the situation in the Mediterranean and the many refugees who die there every day or fear for their lives.
About the creation of the song, Monchi, the singer of Feine Sahne Fischfilet, says: "In 2018, I was with Dariush on Lesbos. On land, we stood in front of the Moria camp. These images have not left my mind to this day. How terrible must it be for the people who are crammed together in such hell? How terrible must it be for people like Dari to go there again and again and try to help? However, Dariush is not only a sea rescuer but primarily a wonderful person, a friend with whom you can celebrate, discuss, laugh, argue, and rant. And while we are releasing this video here, Dariush is already back in Sicily! In a few days, he will go back to the Mediterranean. Saving people from drowning!"
