Their brand new single "Wireless" marks the beginning of the countdown for the highly anticipated eighth studio album, which is set to be released later this year.
"Wireless" is a fiery and powerful song that signifies the start of a new era for the band - an era in which they maintain their DNA but further expand their celebrated sound with powerful riffs, modern breaks, and epic choruses. Lyrically, the band does not shy away from addressing a range of important political and social issues of today, and the song targets those who, hungry for war and unrest, manipulate and control the media.

Sharon den Adel comments: "Wireless" is a song about a soldier going to war, convinced that he is fighting for a good cause. He is indoctrinated by the media, which is controlled by the government, and believes that he will be welcomed back as a savior, only to find out that he has been used and that people see him instead as a brutal conqueror. He finds himself on the wrong side, and his life and the lives of many are deceived and destroyed."
“Wireless" is set to become an instant fan favorite and hopefully will be heard during the band's festival performances across Europe this summer, including the long-awaited return to Download Festival in the UK on June 9 and Download Festival Germany on June 23, as well as Hellfest in France on June 17.
