STEEL PANTHER – release new single "FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS" and their very first mobile app Rock N‘ Talk, sixth studio album "ON THE PROWL" will be released on February 24, 2023.
Less than two weeks before the release of their sixth studio album On The Prowl, the Californian rockers Steel Panther return with their latest music video from the album. The NSFW video is for the song "Friends With Benefits", which lyrically explores a mutually beneficial relationship between two consenting adults. The music video, directed by J.T. Arbogast, a long-time collaborator of the band, is Steel Panther's take on the popular show Shark Tank. The band performs in the Panther Den, attempting to sell a series of creative ideas to four high-profile cougars. Products like the Glorious Hole, The Coolcumber, and Slikknutz all sound like sensible creations until Michael Starr appears and pitches his camaraderie package. The band performs in front of a group of female business leaders, and by the end of the song, more than just their wallets are open.

Steel Panther, who have always been innovative and continually find new ways to expand their social presence, are now launching their very first mobile application called Rock N' Talk. The app works like any other popular dating app, but here it’s about subscribers who share a common love for the band. People can sign up and connect with others in their city to arrange concert dates and make friendships—all thanks to their shared interest in the band, which consists of Michael Starr, Satchel, Stix Zadinia, and Spyder. The app is expected to expand to other artists in the future. The app and registration will be free and are available now for all smartphones.
Steel Panther will release their sixth studio album On The Prowl worldwide on February 24, 2023. On The Prowl was produced by Steel Panther and is now available for pre-order here in various configurations, including CD, cassette, and vinyl in two different color variants.
From the opening synth intro of "Never Too Late (To Get Some Pu**y Tonight)" to the thunderous outro of "Sleeping On The Rollaway", Steel Panther are back with the infectious riffs, pounding drums, unforgettable vocals, and witty humor that have earned them a global audience. Songs like "On Your Instagram", "Magical Vagina", and "One Pump Chump" will be featured on the biggest live stages alongside the band’s most memorable songs. "1987" is an incredible retro look at the unforgettable year and a tribute to the icons of that year, including Guns N' Roses, Poison, Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, and Van Halen, to name just a few. The music video follows a young duo who discover an abandoned recording studio. When one of the kids plugs in a hidden 1987 pedal, they are transported back to the time in the studio when Steel Panther recorded the song, experiencing the memories of 1987 in their own way.

After Steel Panther made their foray into the realm of musical instruments with the successful release of three guitar pedals - the legendary Pu**y Melter, the Poontang Boomerang, and the Butthole Burner - the band is now back with another must-have - the 1987 pedal. The pedal is a combination of distortion and delay, allowing any guitarist to achieve the signature sound of that classic year. The pedal will be available for $198.70 (see what we did there?) and as only Steel Panther can describe: "With the bite of 100 chainsaws and the ability to repeat itself more than that super stoned guy from chemistry class, it truly is the ultimate badass accessory...
