On February 17, the new Deichkind album "Neues Vom Dauerzustand" will be released. The third single from the album, "Auch im Bentley wird geweint," featuring Clueso, has just been released:

The Tech-Rap song of the hour emerged from a trip to Germany by Deichkind, an older idea from Clueso, and a Donkong beat in a spark-flying session. "Auch im Bentley wird geweint" is a wonderfully caustic satire on all the decadent confusions of late capitalism in its phase of maximum grotesque obscenity from Qatar to Instagram.
The wistfulness in Clueso's voice harmonizes brilliantly with the sardonic Deichkind rhymes and perfectly conveys the emotional spectrum of the song between the whining of the wealthy and the decadent detachment of the super-rich, or their completely lost connection to reality. "I only know more, more / But I can't think of more," it says at one point to a hectic twitching brat beat, "I have Gucci toilet paper, cutting dolphins into my sushi," at another.
The song will initially be released as a Clueso single and on February 17, 2023, will also appear on the upcoming Deichkind album "Neues Vom Dauerzustand." It will be accompanied by a wonderfully decadent and absurd Hip-Hop performance fisheye video, for which, according to Deichkind director La Perla, the creative limitation was used as an opportunity. "We wanted to shoot with the most expensive, heaviest, and most cumbersome camera in the world, which is also not particularly good. With this camera, it was supposed to be a video that could just as well have been shot with any phone," says La Perla. "Just like Werner Herzog had to pull a real ship over the hill in 'Fitzcarraldo,' this video could only be shot with the Bentley camera."
