JERA ON AIR
FIVE NEW HEADLINERS CONFIRMED FOR 2023!
TICKET SALES ARE ON!
Jera on Air is still 30 weeks away on the calendar, but today there are five more reasons to look forward to the 29th edition of the festival in Ysselsteyn, which has become one of the largest rock events in BeNeLux, yet has lost none of its friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Year after year, the crew, made up of numerous volunteers, puts together a top-notch lineup that will be more than just readable in 2023!
After top acts like Parkway Drive, Rancid, Meshuggah, and The Ghost Inside, five additional heavyweights have been confirmed today, who will be sharing the stage next year in North Limburg:
Billy Talent, Code Orange, Papa Roach, Pup & The Interrupters promise a diverse rock entertainment experience and, together with the already known names, truly form a lineup of the highest caliber!
The ticket pre-sale is underway at www.jeraonair.nl, and it's important to secure tickets in time, as the festival sold out last year!
In 2023, every visitor can look forward to three days full of top-notch alternative music at Jera On Air. Already on Thursday, June 22, the gates to the festival entrance and the campsite will open, and thousands of fans can then look forward to seeing their favorite bands from the punk, hardcore, and metalcore genres. In the latter genre, Parkway Drive has been one of the absolute top bands for many years, greeting the world stage. Not least because of their high-energy shows, where a true fireworks display is guaranteed: in both the literal and figurative sense, as they impressively demonstrated once again during their recently concluded arena tour.
The singer of The Ghost Inside, Jonathan Vigil, can definitely hold his own vocally with his colleague Winston McCall from Parkway Drive, as well as in name and fame. In 2015, the worst nightmare of the Americans became a reality when their tour bus collided head-on with a truck. Both drivers died, and some of the band members were seriously injured. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk was in a coma for ten days and lost his leg. Just like Tkaczyk, The Ghost Inside returned stronger than ever after the drama.
"Time Bomb," "Ruby Soho," and "Radio": three real punk classics from the same band, Rancid. The punks, who also aren't afraid of ska, have been considered innovative, catchy, and the best the genre has to offer for over thirty years. "Catchy" is not a term often used in connection with Meshuggah. Yet the metal veterans from Sweden are melodic. And also inimitable. Under the leadership of Jens Kidman, they captivate millions of fans worldwide. These are just a few of the big names on the poster of the Jera On Air 2023 festival, which also features Hatebreed, Sick of it All, The Amity Affliction, Fever 333, Motionless in White, and Lorna Shore.
And now, with Billy Talent, Papa Roach, The Interrupters, Pup, and Code Orange, more fan favorites are joining the lineup.
Without even announcing a single band, the early bird tickets for Jera On Air 2023 were sold out within an hour. Everyone who has already secured a ticket will likely not regret their decision, knowing that they will also see Malevolence, Landmvrks, H2O, Rise of the Northstar, Stray from the Path, The Mezingers, Any Given Day, and Polaris on June 22, 23, and 24 in Ysselsteyn.
