"The new single „Bojammy“ showcases Butterwegge's approach to the outrageously stupid statements of the self-proclaimed “people,” pub talk clichés, and Bild newspaper incitement. With a raised middle finger, Butterwegge dances away the exhausting outbursts of the education-resistant German “hate masses” and invites all colorful people and those with a human background to join in the dance."

The festival summer is almost over, and Butterwegge has achieved unprecedented success, not least due to the newly diverse band.
Alongside absolute highlights at events like Ruhrpott Rodeo, Olga's Rock, Rock am Turm, or the Festival der Vielen, Butterwegge has shaken up the German punk rock scene this summer with his current album “Butterbande.”
It’s no wonder that already established bands like Slime, Betontod, Kapelle Petra, and others are taking Butterwegge, both solo and with the band, on their journey as exclusive support this year.
Campino also recently spoke very positively about Butterwegge in the “Heimspiel-Podcast” with Annick Manoukian.
Before heading into a wild autumn and winter, including a solo tour across the republic, Butterwegge is releasing “Bojammy,” a song that could only come from Butterwegge. Essentially a child of punk rock, Butterwegge loves to incorporate ska or reggae beats time and again.
