ARENA TOUR IN FALL 2022
The Australian metal heavyweights PARKWAY DRIVE - Winston McCall (vocals), Luke Kilpatrick (guitar), Jeff Ling (guitar), Jia O'Connor (bass), and Ben Gordon (drums) - will release their seventh album "Darker Still“ on September 9!
The album follows the successful album “Reverence” from 2018 and will be released as usual through their long-time partner Epitaph Records.
The song is different from anything heard from Parkway Drive before - it is a monumental track with career-defining performances all around. "Darker Still" comes to life with a whistle and acoustic guitar. From here, the band takes the listener on an exhilarating odyssey through guitar solos, ethereal choirs, and strings, over which Winston McCall delivers a vocal performance that will surely surprise some.
"Love. Time. Death. The great, defining elements that make up our existence. This song begins with the simplest human sounds and represents these elements as the musical trip continuously unfolds to reach a sour crescendo before turning to the inevitable end of their journey. The night grows dark… darker still", says the singer.
"Darker Still“ Tracklisting:
1. "Ground Zero"
2. "Like Napalm"
3. "Glitch"
4. "The Greatest Fear"
