CASINO BLACKOUT releases their new single "Wo es wehtut" from the current album "Hinterhof Poesie" (Hinterhof Produktionen/Rough Trade)
Pumping beats and an overly melodic catchy hook meet lyrics with depth, making "Wo es wehtut" a pure modern pop-punk anthem.
The song developed into a highlight of the setlist during the extensive tour across the entire country. This consistently positive response, combined with the fact that the track is an extremely personal and important one for CASINO BLACKOUT frontman Flo Tragl, has prompted the band to produce a fitting music video.

"How often does it happen that you say something nice to someone? Giving a compliment is basically so easy. Instead, we usually focus on the weaknesses of the other person, looking for the sore spot and knowing exactly where it hurts," Flo Tragl reports. To then become very personal and let us look deep into his emotional world: "You can imagine how it feels when you’ve played the so-called 'performance of your life' or released a song you’ve worked on for months, and shortly after, someone confronts you with everything you supposedly did wrong or what you should do to be more successful. And no – this is not about not being allowed to express constructive criticism, but about sensitivity. And about giving your fellow human beings a good feeling every now and then, instead of looking for the vulnerable spot of the other person. I often find it incredibly difficult to brush off a stupid comment regarding things that are very important to me – no matter how unimportant it may seem."
CASINO BLACKOUT released their new studio album "Hinterhof Poesie", produced by Michael Czernicki (Rogers etc.), in April. The band from southern Germany experiments with German-language pop-punk sounds and continually surprises with fresh songwriting tricks that elevate the variety and expressiveness of their songs to the next level and are currently receiving a lot of support. YUNGBLUD, the DONOTS, CAPSPER, and GOOD CHARLOTTE can all serve as influences here – and that’s not all that can be said.
