Scharping, founded in 2018 in Berlin by Kevin Kuhn (Die Nerven), Angelo Fonfara (Nille Promille), Jerman Mikel Herold (Lost Girls), and David Hutzel, who has been replaced by Christian Heerdt (Botschaft) since early 2020, set out with the clear goal of revolutionizing the music world. Four characters, shaped by youthful exuberance and a truffle pig-like instinct for hooklines and good songs, four singers and lyricists, all blessed with an extremely fine sense of humor that covers the entire spectrum from weak to profound. Musically, they have all proven in their previous bands that they belong to the masters of their craft, but in the Scharping collective, they reach unprecedented heights.
After the digital EP "Powerplay," released in 2019, which already included a first, genuine underground hit with "Du tanzt zu Anti-Flag" and their anarchically energetic live shows left the audience thoroughly thrilled, the time is now ripe to record a real album. Scharping "Unser Charping" will be released on April 1st on Glitterhouse Records
