It is the social question that the Hamburg rapper Disarstar addresses in his new album »Deutscher Oktober« (March 12).
He finds material for his class-conscious lyrics not least directly in his own neighborhood in St. Pauli. Since the age of 17, Disarstar has lived in the most famous district of Hamburg, where the social misery has become more blatant than ever during the course of the Corona crisis.
The new and so far fourth single from the new album is aptly titled: »Nachbarschaft«. Once again, Disarstar's art lies in creating striking images with few words, which are both striking and to the point in their observation of sociocultural discrepancies.
