"Due to the danger posed by the coronavirus, no public events are currently taking place at AZ Wuppertal. As a result, we are losing important income that we need to cover ongoing costs. In a time when especially non-commercial projects are threatened in their existence by the pandemic and leftist free spaces are being pushed out in many cities, it is important to show solidarity and support them. The AZ is an important part of leftist infrastructure in Wuppertal. Many of us have a special relationship with the house, whose impact extends beyond its own premises. Regardless of whether we are active there, attend events or have attended events, or simply enjoy the visual beauty of the building, it should be a concern for all of us to preserve this structure. If each of us donates, for example, 10 euros a month, we can cover the costs.
