Haiyti is still in machine mode: With “100.000 Feinde,” the Hamburg native releases the next single from her upcoming album, which is expected in November.
“100.000 Feinde” is a classic Haiyti anthem balancing excess and escapism, gangsta and glamour. The water in the Gulf of Naples sparkles. The Fiorucci shirt fits perfectly. The cash is being spent. The next hit is here.
For the song, Haiyti has further refined her trademark sound: baile rhythms and sweet harmonies meet heavy 808 drums and the boom of UK Drill. She switches flows like other rappers switch their fake friends and introduces a new mini-melody for eternity every four bars.
“100.000 Feinde” is radical and poppy at the same time, like all of her best songs. “Everyone step aside,” autumn 2020 is Haiyti Season.
