On the occasion of the AfD party congress in Cologne, Anti-Flag will perform a free acoustic concert at the counter-event. This is intended to support the protesters against the racist human traffickers. On Sunday, April 23, it will kick off at 11:45 AM at Heumarkt. Just read the official statement from the band:
FREE ACOUSTIC CONCERT AS PART OF THE ANTI-AFD DEMONSTRATIONS IN COLOGNE!
The right-wing populist and xenophobic AfD will hold its federal party congress in Cologne this weekend, against which hundreds of initiatives, artists, bands, and tens of thousands of enlightened Cologne residents will protest. Many demonstrations in Cologne will already start on April 22 in the morning and will continue throughout the weekend.
On their way to their concert in Luxembourg, Anti-Flag will join the protest and will play a short, free acoustic concert as part of the rally "Goodbye AfD" on SUNDAY, April 23 at 11:45 AM at HEUMARKT. Right next door at the Maritim Hotel, the AfD has settled in - the goal is to formulate a loud and angry protest against the inhumane agenda of the party on the second day of the party congress.
