On June 3, 2017, the GOTT SEI PUNK Festival will take place in Hamburg for the second time. What started in 2008 as a "small" birthday party with a handful of Deutschpunk bands developed into a first serious festival last year, filling a gap in the Hamburg music scene. Even punk bands would like to be applauded by a larger audience. Here they will have their evening. And just because of this incredibly classic DIY background, GOTT SEI PUNK already deserves a big reward star in the rating before it even starts.
One evening, 19 (!!!) bands, grilling, drinking, being cheerful. Last year, GOTT SEI PUNK started as a relatively small, official festival right in St. Pauli. This year it will be a bit bigger. On Große Freiheit, the clubs Indra and Grünspan are located right next to each other. On June 3, the punks will be passing the mic on stage. But even the organizer says that punks are basically very friendly specimens, so it will be an evening to feel good. They just want to play. How could we withhold something like that from you?
