Germ Attack have disbanded

In September, Germ Attack celebrated their 15th anniversary. But now it's over; the Berlin punk rock band parted ways just in time for the anniversary on September 30. The two concerts at KvU and Wild at Heart during Popkomm 06 also marked their farewell. This seems a bit rushed, especially considering the previously planned "15 Years Germ Attack 1992 - 2006" best-of album, which is now not going to be released. Gockel, Tom Moon, and Micha want to "leave the music scene without much fuss." It almost sounds like no new projects are planned either.
