As early as 2001, Gloomster offered the 13 songs of the "Randkultur" CD for free download via Bandcamp. Now, the songs have been remixed and remastered and re-released on Riot Bike. What's new is that alongside Julian, Tanio from PRODUZENTEN DER FROIDE is now also shouting into the microphone. In comparison, the new sound is even more powerful and forceful than before. "If you want to achieve something, you shouldn't knock on the door; it needs to be kicked in."
What remains is an angry HC album that, in true RAWSIDE fashion, unleashes dark, threatening grenades in the fight against social injustices, capitalism for more equality, and a "Everything for everyone and for free" culture. The resistant Randkultur is a refuge for radical and consistent actions and ways of thinking. GLOOMSTER have created a starting point to frame social issues with questions that arise at the intersection of everyday life, culture, and power, to stand up for minorities as well. GLOOMSTER know exactly what they stand for, demonstrating a strong, rebellious class consciousness and showing an uncompromising reaction to still current living conditions. It is never too late for a new beginning. This also applies to the band itself.
