On November 11, 2016, the album "Widziadla" by "DIABOL BORUTA" will be released on CD. Pre-sales begin on October 28, 2016.
The new album by the Polish band DIABOL BORUTA will be released via PURE UNDERGROUND.
"Widziadla" will once again blow away every folk metal fan, no matter how bad their socks smell. The initially martial atmosphere immediately transitions into the new songs of the quintet, driven by strong, warlike rhythms, entwined with gentle, buoyant tones from the accordion and zither, and obliterated by guitar sounds.
Everything is, of course, sung in Polish; anything else would have been pure sacrilege. So raise your mugs, raise your glasses. The singer Paweł Rudobrody does a great job, whether before the third mug or after the eighth glass, his buoyant dark voice, this time even occasionally with real malice, creates a delightful roughness while also allowing for a fresh cheerfulness.
An album to enjoy and sway to, a collection of songs for dancing, hopping, or jumping. Na zdrowie.
